how do i download these quicktime files to iTunes to get it in my iPod - if I right click I dont get that option?
Various ways that you can achieve that.
You will need an RSS-enabled browser - Firefox for eg - or iPodder, or a newsreader, or an online service such as Bloglines
You can subscribe by clicking the "Subscribe" link to the left marked "SUBSCRIBE YE" - XML - or you can go to iTunes/Store/Podcasts, search John Cleese and subscribe there.
